Starting Acronis Loader. No configuration file present. Press to reboot So, I tried my version 10 boot disk. I still get the same message. Nothings wrong with the boot disk as it works on another computer and worked on this pc before. What would block the boot disk from working? What do I do to get past this? This message often means that the computer is attempting to boot from a device that has no boot loader present. If this file is actually missing, it can be replaced with a working copy from any pre–Windows Vista computer, although try to replace the missing file with a copy from the same or a newer version of Windows to maintain full.
My computer suddenly fails to boot and ends up with this message:Starting Acronis Loader...
Acronis Loader : No configuration file present.
Press <Enter> to reboot...
Pressing the Enter key results in the same message being displayed. Unable to break into Safe Mode with the F8 key. Booting from the Vista system disk enables me to get to the Advanced Boot Options but choosing Safe Mode with Networking always throws back the Vista install screen with the Install option and Repair option which gives to System Recovery Options. None of these help. I can't run msconfig because of Administrator privaledges and the bcdedit is beyond my expertise.
This is a single boot configuration on a RAID 1 arrary. I need to get to Windows to kill Acronis.

Symptoms
- You install Acronis PXE Server.
- You set up Agent machines located in another subnet for PXE boot.
- PXE boot starts:
Starting Acronis Loader…
Downloading bootwiz.cfg… - And fails with:
Acronis Loader: No configuration file present
Cause
Issue in the DHCP relay configuration of your router/switch.
Solution
Set up DHCP relay (forwarding DHCP packets beetwen machines residing in different subnets) on your router/switch.
E.g. on your Cisco router or switch add the IP address of Acronis PXE server to the ip-helper address of the router/switch. This allows dhcp brodacasts sent by the Agent machines to be forwarded to another network where the PXE server resides.
